About Steve Irwin Day

Steve Irwin Day is an international celebration held each year on November 15 to recognize the extraordinary life of the one and only Crocodile Hunter, Steve Irwin. Down under, the Australia Zoo hosts a special event for their visitors and supporters. They invite everyone to wear khaki and enjoy a special day that celebrates the many things Steve was passionate about: family, wildlife conservation and fun!

Steve Irwin Day is also a day where people around the world join together to raise money for Wildlife Warriors to help continue Steve's conservation work and the preservation of wildlife and wild places.

This year, in the United States, we are pleased to launch the Steve Irwin Day fundraising campaign to announce our expansion of the charity in the United States. We are raising funds to continue Steve's legacy and to engage more people here in our global wildlife force.
